Head Coach
Hailey Scott
I’m honored to serve as Head Cheer Coach at James Bowie High School. Born in Austin and raised in Hutto, returning to this community feels truly full circle. Cheerleading has shaped my journey—from cheering at Hutto High School to competing at the University of Texas at Arlington and later as a member of the All-Girl Texas Spirit Squad at the University of Texas at Austin. I’m excited to share the skills, discipline, and teamwork I gained through those experiences with my athletes. As head coach, my focus is on building a strong, supportive team culture where athletes are challenged to grow and succeed. I’m grateful to be part of the Bowie family.
Assistant Coach
Candice Villarreal
Austin native, born and raised, I grew up participating in gymnastics and sideline cheer and developed a lifelong passion for the sport. I have been actively involved in the Austin cheer community since 2016, coaching several recreational sideline programs before expanding into All Star cheer coaching during our duration in Topeka Kansas. I have experience working with athletes of various ages and skill levels and am passionate about building confidence, discipline, teamwork, and strong fundamentals both on and off the mat. This is my second year coaching with the Bowie Cheer program.
